The exhibition was the gallery iteration of a project originally carried out at the Gdynia Market Hall. At its center was a fountain-sculpture in the form of an art brut-style strawberry, presented as a vessel for telling the story of a space threatened by gentrification.
SURVEY
An accompanying video documented a series of public consultations, during which vendors, customers, and regular visitors to the market selected the final shape of the fountain from a range of clay models. The exhibition served as an attempt to narrate a local conflict between aestheticization and everyday life—and to translate that tension into a gallery context.
